Students ranging from grades 5-12 will be performing throughout the evening. The various bands, choirs, and small ensembles will all be featured.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR CHRIST

	Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ. Yet, many times we get so caught up in all the festivities of Christmas, that we forget to celebrate the real reason for the season. We give and receive gifts from our family and friends, but we never think of what we will give our Lord during this Christmas season. Each year at Christmas time, Calvary Baptist Academy chooses a missionary family for the students to help purchases gifts for. In this way, we are able in a tangible way to give gifts to Christ by giving to those who serve him faithfully.
This year Calvary Baptist Academy has chosen the Gary Trometer family to be the recipients of Christmas gifts for Christ. The Trometer family is currently living in one of Calvary Baptist Church's
missionary homes here in Midland. The family serves with Baptist World Missions in Brazil after having previously been in Portugal for several years. The Trometers have three children. Tim is a sophomore at Northland Baptist Bible College. Tyler and Tiffany are juniors here at CBA. Mrs. Trometer has done some substitute teaching in our school this year. This year's Christmas Gifts for Christ Chapel will take place on December 19. As you go throughout the holidays this year, take the time to remember the reason for the season. - Return to top
