SEASON Notes:
CARSON CITY -- Fellowship Christian Academy's basketball team defeated Calvary Baptist Academy 47-26 on Thursday.

Calvary (0-4) fell behind early, trailing 11-2 after the first quarter. Fellowship led 19-12 at halftime.

Freshman Kiersten Hall and eighth-grader Stephanie Murrell scored eight points each to lead CBA. Hall also grabbed eight rebounds.

"Stephanie and Kiersten really played to their potential tonight," said CBA coach Mike Costello. "They figured it out tonight."

Kim McAlvey scored 20 points and Renee Miller added 17 points for Fellowship.

CBA plays at Mount Pleasant Baptist next Friday.
