Mrs. Vivian Court

 

Señora Court has been teaching Spanish at CBA since 2006. She learned to speak Spanish at home in her native country of Cuba. After she moved to the USA, she earned a Bachelors degree and Masters degree in Business Administration from Florida International University.

Mrs. Court has two children, teaches in Junior Church, is involved in AWANA Cubbies, and works with her husband's accounting practice. She loves teaching, children, gardening, and hot weather.



 


Mrs. Tiffany Donnelly

 

Tiffany graduated from Bob Jones University in May of 2004. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education, with a minor in Business Administration. She is the third grade teacher from Homer, Alaska. She enjoys scrapbooking, devotional time, interacting with children, volleyball, NASCAR, and anything that sparkles.

 

 

 


Mrs. Cheryl Forbes

 

Cheryl teaches second grade at CBA. She has taught full-time since 1997 and also substitute taught since 1987. Prior to coming to Midland, she taught five years in Elkhart, Indiana. She has a B.A. degree in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. She enjoys reading and sewing. She and her husband, Dan, have two children -- Jennifer (Michael) Muth and Nathan.

 

 


Mr. Jonathan Jezowski

 

Jonathan graduated from Northland International University in the spring of 2009 with a BS degree in Elementary Education. He's been teaching with CBA since Fall of 2009. Jonathan helps with Soccer Coaching and JV and Varsity Volleyball.

Jonathan is also active in Church serving as an usher, in the choir, and as an AWANA Sparks helper.

 


Mr. Dan Matson

 

Dan has taught elementary and junior high education for twenty-three years. Dan holds a B.S. in elementary education. He is the sixth grade teacher and the junior high science teacher. His interests include fishing, hunting, camping, and sports. He is a member of the Usher crew at Calvary Baptist Church. His wife, Kathleen, is a registered nurse. They have five children: David, Heather, Jonathan, Stephen, and Hope.

 


Mrs. Becky Miller

 

Becky earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education/Psychology from Pensacola Christian College. She taught K-4 for two years in Saginaw before getting married and then starting a family. Becky home schooled their children for 8 years and also worked for McKinney Homeless Education Program during some of those years. In 2006, Steve and Becky moved to the Midland area so they could enroll their three children at CBA. Becky has taught K-4, 1st, and 4th grades at HTP and CBA.

 

Becky works in the AWANA and Junior church ministries at CBC. She enjoys flower gardening during the summer.


Mrs. Mary Neeb

 

Mary has a degree in B.S. in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University. Mary has been teaching since 1985. She is married to Greg Neeb, and has three children: Ben, Tim and Anna.

Additionally, Mary loves to read childrens literature and helping at AWANAs.

 

 

 

 

 


Mrs. Pam O'Shaughnessey

 

Pam has taught at CBA since 1993. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan. She is the fourth grade teacher, Kings Kare supervisor, and runs the Kings Kamps in the summer. She is interested in Michigan history and in lighthouses. Pam works in the crib room for Calvary Baptist Church. Pam has four children: Dani, Nate, Christina, and Mike.

Mrs. Audra Smith

 

Audra has been teaching elementary music and choir at Calvary Baptist Academy since 2008. She is a graduate of The Academy of Arts and also attended Northland Baptist Bible College, where she met her husband, Jeremy. During their seven years in Youth Ministry, Audra taught private voice, elementary music, elementary and high school choirs and Kindergarten. Since 2004, the Smiths have ministered together at Beaverton Baptist Church, where Jeremy serves as Senior Pastor. Together, they have five children: Nick, Logan, Katiana, Kalista and Korinna.

 


Mr. Jeff VanDenBerg

 

Jeff has been on staff at CBA since September of 2007. He has a B.S. and Masters degrees in Music Education from Bob Jones University. Before coming to CBA to direct the bands, Jeff taught for three years in Fairfax, VA and six years in Longmont, CO. In addition to overseeing the music programs in both the church and school, Jeff directs the Elementary, JH and SH bands and the JH and SH choirs and ensembles. He and his wife Holley have three children, Emma, Peter, and Liddy.

 


Mrs. Denise Wiggins

 

Denise is excited to teach 2nd grade at CBA this year. A graduate of Bob Jones University, she has experience teaching 3rd - 6th grades, junior high language arts, high school speech and Algebra. She has also worked as a substitute teacher in all grades and enjoys tutoring. Last year she was an aid in a HTP K4 classroom. Denise is married to Neil Wiggins who pastors Hope Baptist Church in Hope, MI. They have four children: Anna, Nathan, Ashley and Amanda.
