Pastor Mike Reece

Pastor Mike Reece has been the Calvary Baptist Academy Administrator since 1978. Pastor Reece holds a Bible degree from the Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music, a B.S. degree in education from Central Michigan University and a M.A. in Educational Administration from Pensacola Christian College. He is a current doctoral candidate at Bob Jones University.

He and his wife Jeanie have four children. Concerning his family and CBC, Pastor Reece says, "Calvary is a great place to raise a family. There is a ministry here for every member of a family. From newborns to senior citizens, Calvary ministers to all."

Pastor Reece enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and nearly all sports. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."


Pastor David Warren


Pastor David has been on staff at CBC since September of 2003. He has a B.A. in Youth Ministries and a M.A. in Counseling. At CBC he is the Discipleship Pastor which involves counseling, mobilization, Christian education ministries, adult ministries, financial and office management and the drama ministry. Pastor David is also the Life Builders Sunday School teacher and works with the Junior High. Pastor David was ordained at CBC in 1998. From 1997 to 1999 he was the Youth Pastor at Temple Heights Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida and from 1999 to 2002 he was a family counselor at Boysville of Michigan. Pastor David is interested in the University of Michigan, golf and computers. He and his wife, Maria, have 2 sons and a daughter.

 

 


Mr. Dan Forbes

Dan Forbes began teaching at CBA in 1980, after having taught six years in Elkhart, Indiana. His professional degree is a B.S. in History Education with a minor in Sociology. Dan teaches History and Bible, and is an assistant principal for the high school. He is interested in reading history, doing woodworking, and eating pies. He is the chairman of Calvary Baptist Missionary Committee. He and his wife, Cheryl, have two children: Jenny and Nathan.

 

 

 


Mrs. Jean Reece

Jean Reece joined Calvary's faculty in 1991. Jean earned a B.S. in elementary education from Bob Jones University. She is the elementary principal of Calvary Baptist Academy and the Hidden Treasure's Preschool director. Her interests include reading, sports, camping with her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. She and her husband, Michael, have four children: Michelle (Nathan) Bright, Michael (Sarah) Reece, Kari (Nathan) McDowell , and Paul Reece. Jean accepted the Lord Jesus as her personal Saviour as a young girl and desires to serve Him with her life.
